We have been camping all over the US and Canada for the last 13 years. We have stayed in state parks, luxurious RV Parks, out of the way unmanned desert campgrounds, national parks, and more. Along the way, we met very friendly people from all over the world and walks of life.

During COVID (pre-vaccine), we were fortunate to visit friends and family because we were able to stay in RV parks and campgrounds out West. That’s where the idea for Cloud Camp was born. We wanted to create a place that we would be excited to pull into and stay.

Not too crowded, with trees like a park, in a beautiful area near a state or national park with amazing views and hikes nearby. Not too far from a city where you could have a nice meal and then head back out to enjoy nature or sit around the communal fire pit.

We have friends that own campers and some that don’t. Some of those who don't tell us that they wished they owned an Airstream like we do but don’t want to store, maintain, and tow them. So we decided to add Airstreams as vacation rentals for those friends, and people like them.

It took almost two years to find the 20 acres, purchase it, clear and grade it, install roads, bring in electricity, water and septic, purchase and ready the Airstreams, and get permits.

The first phase has 9 sites total. If things go well, our intent is to add 10-20 more RV sites/Airstreams on the backside of the property which is even more beautiful than the initial area in Phase 1.

Please be patient with us as we continue to build Cloud Camp and learn. We are campers too and want you to have the same experience we would expect.
